Assimil8 Inc. is here to help! We service 18 and over developmentally disabled who are subsiding with a family member and/or families. Not only does Assimil8 Inc. provide services to the client, but we also are here to teach and help their families, as well as, the community around us. At Assimil8 Inc., we are committed to providing the best services with the upmost care and confidentiality for each individual. About Us

 

At Assimil8 Inc. our team is comprised of individuals who recognize the value of teamwork and the unique needs of each client. We prioritize the utmost care and consideration for our developmentally disabled clients and their families. Our commitment is deliver exceptional services while treating our clients with the respect and attention they truly deserve.

Michael Chen received his B.A. from the University of California, Irvine in 2002. Following graduation from college, Michael enlisted in the United States Army Reserve.

 

In 2004, Michael mobilized for Operation Iraqi Freedom under the command of the XVIII Airborne Corps out of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. As a Sergeant, he deployed to Balad, Iraq and Baghdad, Iraq in 2005.

 

He earned his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2009. While in law school, Michael was a member of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review.

 

Michael is licensed to practice law in the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has been practicing exclusively in personal injury law since 2014, and continues to serve as a Judge Advocate Major in the United States Army Reserve.

 

Michael is conversational in Mandarin Chinese.

 

In his spare time, Michael likes to work out, travel, and play the guitar.

Julie Reyes graduated from Rio Hondo College and received her A.A in General studies in Social Behavior Self Development and A.S in Administration of Justice.

 

Julie began to work with the developmentally disabled population since 2015 and has over 10 years in the field. She began her career as a caregiver. Through this experience, Julie developed the ability to empathize with her clients and gained the ability to be understanding, compassionate and helpful towards those in need.

Julie now utilizes her skills and talents at Assimil8 Developmental Care, Inc., where she works as a Program Manager. She is responsible for day-to-day operations, helping consumers with services, and establishing close connections with consumers and their families.

 

In her spare time, Julie Reyes enjoys spending time with her daughter and working out.

Ashley

Ashley Najar graduated from El Rancho High School with Honors. In 2015, she received her B.A. in Human Development with a minor in Sociology from California State University of Long Beach. In 2017, Ashley received her M.S. in School Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from the University of La Verne.

 

Ashley has a valid and current credential through Commission on Teaching Credentialing in California, which makes her able to counsel and provide mental health supports to all children through the TK-12th grade level. She has worked with various schools in the mental health sector and has provided counseling support for students with IEPs and 504 Plans. For the past four years, Ashley has supported middle and high school students with their IEP goals. This makes her equipped to handle difficult situations, maintain confidentiality, and be hands-on with her clients.

 

Ashley now utilizes her skills and talents at Assimil8 Developmental Care, Inc., where she works as a Supervisor. She is responsible for day-to-day operations, assisting consumers, and establishing close bonds with consumers and their families.

 

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking care of her pets, and listening to music.
